Rolling Stone magazine is now appealing for kids thanks to the Olimpia Zagnoli Rolling Stone illustrations for little rockstars. Italian-born Zagnoli is a well-known illustrator whose creations have been featured in several prestigious publications including the New York Times Sunday Review.
This time the artist is contributing to the September 2011 edition of Rolling Stone with some genuine rock-inspired posters for all the mini-rockstars out there. The result is adorably funny, and certainly appropriate for all audiences. The image of a child as Paul Stanley from Kiss is simply sensational.
This is not the first time Zagnoli worked on artistic ideas for kids; she is actually the art director of a children’s magazine on iPad. Her work, even for adults, is rich in colors and dynamic drawings. In an interview for Lancia TrendVisions, she confessed that music, science, 60s French cinema and “Disney short films” play an important role in her daily inspiration. The Olimpia Zagnoli Rolling Stone illustrations are a testament to her talent.
