The Best Wedding Honeymoon Ideas

Anyone that has ever got married will know that, despite it probably being one of the best days in your life, the period leading up to your wedding day can be stressful and exhausting. It is practically impossible not to get a fretful before the big day, even though you have terrific people sorting everything out and making sure things run according to plan.
A honeymoon is not just a time for you to celebrate quietly together; it's a time to reflect on the wedding day and above all, to just totally relax for a while, away from everyone.

Planning your honeymoon needs to be part of the overall wedding plans; don't forget it because you will need a honeymoon. Take a quiet moment or two, several months before the wedding day, to settle down with your future partner and browse through magazines, newspaper and research on the internet. It is best if you get the honeymoon arranged several months before, firstly because your favorite destination may get booked and secondly, you will too many other things to think about as the wedding day gets closer.

Talk about the where you both want to go, take account of each other's views; you may not necessarily have the same type of honeymoon in mind. Hopefully you are able come to a mutual agreement, but if you can't, why not compromise and go for a two center honeymoon. This way both of you get to have your perfect honeymoon.

It may be that one of you just wants to laze on golden sands and be away from crowds of people, while the other may want to go for something a little more adventurous or energetic such as skiing. The beauty of living in the U.S. is you can almost do anything within your own country, so you if you don't have a passport, there's no need to go to the trouble and hassle of applying for one.

So where do you want to go on honeymoon? The number one destination for honeymoon couples is Hawaii. The reasons are fairly obvious; besides not needing a passport, the weather is great throughout the year. You get mainly clear sunny skies and yet a cooling breeze off the warm blue sea. You have white sandy beaches and some of the best quality hotels serving amazing food and cocktails. If you want to do something energetic, it's right in front of you; you can scuba dive, snorkel, sailboard, water ski and plenty more.

If you want a city destination then New York and San Francisco are popular places. Both offer so much to do and within a short drive you can explore all manner of other exciting places.

If you want a very lively atmosphere that never ever stops, try Las Vegas. The city buzzes non-stop and the evening shows are brilliant. Add to that the selection of amazing hotels and restaurants and you have a place you will always remember. If you want to try your luck at a little gambling, then every hotel, bar, fast-food restaurant and even the airport has slots and tables.

Whereever you eventually decide to spend your honeymoon, it will be a time to remember.
