Holidays in Wales

By Andrew Jacobs

If you are planning on making a trip to Wales, and spending your vacations there? Found in the UK, Wales offers quaint holiday accommodations, fine dining and popular visitor attractions. Taking your friends to see the Welsh countryside, and to enjoy the local culture, is a pleasure they can appreciate. Knowing where you wish to stay, what you want to eat and what you want to see is the key to ensuring you have the experience of a lifetime.

Accommodations in Wales are abundant. There are holiday cottages to rent in Wales, bed and breakfasts, self-catering holiday apartments, villa holidays and, of course, hotels. Are you looking to do something different? Most bed and breakfasts are run by a family who not only offers you a hearty welcome, but they also cook you home made meals and clean for you. Do you want to rent a villa vacation? You have got the option to choose just how large, and lush, your villa will be.

Wales has a variety of eateries, bistros, cafes, bistros, bars and pubs. Sample local wines and enjoy the tastes of fine lamb, beef, fresh fish and famous cheeses. You can relax and have a locally brewed lager in a Welsh city or village pub, or you can sit down to a superb meal served with courteous hospitality.

There is no shortage of things worth doing, or to see, in Wales. While on your vacation, you could visit museums, ancient Roman ruins, gardens and beaches. You can opt to go sailing, to a spa, golfing and fishing, or to a rugby or football match.

Visit any one of the four-hundred castles dotting the Welsh countryside. Some are in ruins, while others have been pristinely saved. Take a tour of the interior of a castle and climb the tower for an amazing view.
