For safety, be sure you use your best judgment. Using your best judgment can do wonders for you. For example, does an area that you wish to stop at look dangerous or unsafe? In that case, you may want to continue moving on and get gasoline or food at another place, when possible. It is also important to keep safety in your mind when staying at an RV park or perhaps a public campground with camper accommodations. Never invite strangers to your RV, especially right away. In case you are traveling with children, be sure to set guidelines.
