Adorable Upturned Ledges - The Stealf Shelf Adopts an Unsuspecting Stance (TrendHunter.com)

SuperstarThe Stealf Shelf Adopts an Unsuspecting Stance

People have been building wall-mounted shelving for hundreds and even thousands of years with braces beneath that support the ledge above. The Stealf Shelf refuses to do what’s expected of it. Urbanproduct of Toronto has created this cunning collection of mini mantels that measure 8 inches, 16 inches and 24 inches.

What makes the storage system so mischievous is the way that each piece can be installed on the wall in one of two inverted arrangements. The beveled buttresses can be found at the base of the ledge if installed traditionally, but alternatively the charming walnut sills can embrace their contents with their triangular brackets brought up above. With its fine crafstmanship and quirky angled abutments, the Stealf Shelf gains no less affection for being sly.
