Road Trip To The Eumundi Markets

The Eumundi Markets are well known and are now a growth industry in Eumundi, growing from a preferred Saturday morning tiny city market, to a major business venture in the town. The Eumundi Markets are now held each Wednesday and Saturday, 52 weeks a year and there are six hundred stalls to flick thru. In fact , the markets now take over the entire city in a market extravaganza. Stallholders now come from Brisbane too , as do many sightseers as it is such a compact region and easy to get about.

If you are needing to skim or look for a special gift, or even a keepsake from your vacation, chances are you'll find it at the Eumundi Markets. There are lots of hand-crafted items to select from like toys, furniture, foods, artwork and sculptures. While you are browsing, there's heaps of of music to listen to and local performers are also on tap to offer entertainment.

The Eumundi Markets also have a huge range of local goods, from cheeses and yogurt, fresh vegetables and fruit as well as fresh baked handmade breads. You might pretty much buy the ingredients and make your own picnic, even down to the seafood, coffee and cakes. Fancy Asian? They have that too. It will make you glad to be a foodie.

To finish the experience, there are also many contentment practitioners so you may have a massage, or any of a range of other treatments before leaving. They also have a resident palm reader. One thing is guaranteed though and it's that you are going to have a lovely day and go home with heaps of presents and special things.
