I knew the minute I started planning my wedding that I would need to find a professional videographer who would record that important day for me. I know that it sounds clichd, but I want to be able to relive my wedding day years from now, on days that perhaps aren't so special. In watching some other people's wedding videos, I have seen what I absolutely do not want, which is a friend or family member shooting some shaky blurry footage that makes you dizzy to watch.
My search for the right videographer led me first to a photographer who stated that he was a specialist in still images and would be pleased to take our wedding photos as well as candid photos during the reception, but that he would not be able to do a professional video like I was envisioning. I thanked him for his frankness and determined to look elsewhere.
I then started to look for a professional videographer by using the Internet, as I figured that someone in the area would be able to make my plans come to fruition. Happily, I found someone who fit the bill exactly and put myself in touch with them, asking if they would be available for my wedding. I was ecstatic when they told me they would be available on my wedding date, and I immediately knew I had to have them.
I booked them for the wedding, and dove back into my wedding plans, which were keeping me very busy. I was so anxious about all the wedding stuff, that by the time the big day was here, the videography services was the last thing on my mind, but when I saw the woman with her camera at the church, I was elated.
I quickly let her know the schedule and was swept back up in the hubbub of the wedding, which was a little stressful but absolutely worth it. The ceremony was an event to remember, and the reception later was a party that I must say, was one of the best I had ever been to. Our honeymoon to Hawaii was spectacular and when it was over, I couldn't wait to relive our wedding day by watching our wedding video. The movie was gorgeous and I could not make it through the video without crying. Everything looked completely perfect, and the way it was edited and put together made it look so professional and amazing.
