Learning Spanish and How it can Open Doors to New Job Opportunities:

The United States is rapidly becoming a multi-lingual culture. A culture where needing to know Spanish as well as English is vital to success. This is the direct result of people migrating from Mexico to the United States for work. Mexicans who become American citizens know the Spanish language much more efficiently than they do English. Why is this important? It's important because this group of people is a huge market that a company can target to make huge amounts of money. Before a company can target this group of people they need to learn how to communicate with Spanish speaking natives. This is why learning Spanish and having that as a talent on your resume can prove to be so vital to potential employers. Even if you are an employer, it's important for you to learn Spanish as well so that you can get involved in the Spanish culture and have a better understanding of how to promote your products to the Spanish speaking community. Learning Spanish can become an asset to who you are and an asset to your company but you should expect their to be many challenges along the way to becoming fluent in Spanish.

The challenges of learning Spanish:

Learning Spanish can be difficult to a lot of people and to some it may be a breeze. Learning Spanish can be very beneficial to your mind and your overall cognitive ability. Personally, learning Spanish brought forth a whole new set of challenges that I did not expect when I first decided to undertake the task. These included learning how to pronounce words correctly and precisely. Luckily there are several Spanish Educational software programs that have a learning tool called "Speech Recognition" and this tool allows you to pronounce the word as you think it's suppose to be pronounced into a microphone. This learning tool interprets the word or phrase and rephrases it in the way that it should be pronounced as it is correctly heard in the Spanish language. This makes it so much easier for you as a Spanish learner to learn the Spanish language correctly. Other challenges that you might face are finding spare time for studies and learning which tenses and forms the Spanish verbs need to be placed in. Each of which you can be overcome if you choose the right learning program to learn with. If you decide to learn a new language, you could literally change your life!
