The Lady Gaga Of Fabricated Truth

By Jack Wogan

The singer is nude most of the times (except when she is dressed in flesh) but her pale body does not look sexy. She has a very strange appearance of antiseptic and artificial. Her style is farcical and her fans are attracted to her in spite of all her repulsiveness, they declare that Lady Gaga has a genuineness that attracts them, a feeling of reality. Quite strange, because she is a lie.

The singer fabricated everything in her personality. She has totally changed from a normal person into the artificial creation that we can see today. Even her nudity conforms to the artificial ideal. Her pale flesh has nothing sexy, it only looks artificial, as if made of some plastic materials. Paradoxically, this artificial creation has become the icon of her generation. In spite of her farcical style, her fans believe she is genuine and sincere, and that she has a sort of intimacy to offer them. The irony is that she is a lie.

She is very daring and she shows her body almost entirely bare, but somehow she is not attractive and sexy at all. She creates that repulsive image of clinical and antiseptic. Very strangely, she has become the icon of her generation. Her fans are attracted to her by what they believe to be her genuineness, while she uses a farcical style in her dramatic live performances. It is so ironic that her fans believe in this sentiment of reality and she is just a lie.

In the posture of a normal singer, she did not have success. Only after she fabricated that Lady Gaga appearance, fame came in. She presented herself to us like the weird version of Madonna.

Her points of view as regards sex want to be even more shocking. She declares she embraces sex as a whole and that she has her own values in a relationship. She wants to keep control and we see that in her videos. She is fearless in a world dominated by males.

Her fans never see that they idolize a liar. How can someone who is separated from reality be an expert in the world's problems, we do not know. She is so controversial only to attract fans to her live performances and sell tickets. And yet, money and fame are least important things for her. She declares she stands up for what she believes in.

In creating herself a fake image, Gaga wants people to believe she can do no wrong and that she is a misunderstood genius. Everything about her is fake and fabricated and somehow grotesque and rude. The new generation of girls learns from her that being yourself is secondary to glamor, and that, if you rationalize enough, you can justify anything. Give up who you are in change of fame, this is all she teaches us.
