Having complete information about the climate of Gold Coast, Australia is necessary before visiting there. It has been considered a paradise for surfing and for its excellent weather conditions and wave current. Since Australia lies in the Southern Hemisphere, its weather pattern is dramatically opposite to that of the Northern Hemisphere. The time period between December and February is summer season, which can be immensely hot. Winter season is between June and August and it is the best time to visit this interesting place.

The sky is clear and days are warm at that time and you can roam around without any weather concerns and enjoy the crystal clear beaches and warm water. Tourists from England will find winters here identical with summer season in their home country.

Temperature can drop suddenly when the sun sets and when windy conditions are prevailing. You may have to keep a jacket or jumper handy to cope up with the dropping temperature. Make it a point to ask if there is a heated pool where you are staying; to have a splash during your stay.

It is worthwhile to know about the way weather changes on the Gold Coast even at small distances. There is a significant change in total rainfall and number of rainy days while moving away from coast. In addition, humidity rises and falls with corresponding rise and fall in temperature at any given day.
