While you are visiting Broken Hill, a visit to the Line of Lode is an absolute must. Passage through the building is accompanied by audio-visuals of miners working and the damp environment is made by running water which flows beside the trail and the overall effect is one of uncomfortable work conditions. Coming into a bigger, open space is a relief before a walk across a steel walkway, way up above the the mulloch heap, en route to the Miner's Commemorative.
