Why Paintball Games Los Angeles Are All The Rage

By Jessie Morris

Paintball is a popular game which is recreational and extremely competitive. It's enjoyed by thousands of different people, and it's played by the firing of pallets at the opponent which are paint filled. This is a war game that involves action strategy, the objective for winning is the capturing of the opponents flag. It was first played by members of the Marine Corps during their basic training, paintball games Los Angeles has been growing in popularity.

The first modern game featured players who were throwing the paint balls as opposed to shooting them from a gun, the paint was oil based and not easily washed off with water, this would mean players would then have to use turpentine so they could get it off.

There are three important pieces of equipment every player is going to need, this will include a shooting device which is used to mark the opponent, this device comes with a gas bottle that propels the ball along with a special loader. Paint balls are capsules which contain special dyes and gels, and finally a mask that provides protection for every person's head.

The rules will be agreed upon by everyone before the action begins, and these rules can be quite flexible. However, it usually will involve individuals trying to eliminate their opponent by hitting them on an agreed number of times. At this point, the opponent is considered as dead and must leave the playing field and cannot return.

There is a referee who will oversee everything and keeps up with everyone who has been tagged. Because the balls may cause an abrasion when fired too closely, most rules will prohibit shooting within a certain distance of the intended target. Firing continuously at a rapid rate is also highly discouraged when using an electronically controlled gun.

Many times it is played commercially and the participants must pay an admission fee, others are conducted on private property. The sites usually are made to look like specific environments such as in woods, and in many cases the terrain is man-made and will be designed to look historical.

Remember when playing, skill is essential and you need to always be considering where your competitors are. When swept up inside the line of fire, using your agility to leap and run to be able to get out of harms way is essential. Make certain you have all of the proper equipment, and don't forget it's a team effort, and first and foremost it can be thrilling and enjoyable.
