Salmon fishing is sport of kings - Oneida Dispatch

The morning sun filters through the maple trees lining the bank of the river and the soft light and changing colors of orange and red leaves highlight the anglers casting repeatedly to the deeper water of the river. Suddenly there is an eruption of water as a huge fish leaps clear of the water and starts a powerful run downstream. The reel screams as the salmon peels off 100 yards of line in a single run while the angler desperately tries to slow the might fish before it breaks free.
