Saturday, Apr. 13, the Main Branch of the Abilene Public Library hosted their monthly Family Fun event for kids of all ages, and parents too, titled Space Invasion. We enjoyed an afternoon of fun at the library listening to stories, making space crafts, playing games, and more in this monthly event at your library. After several stories, it was time to literally jump up on the stage and get busy in our first craft of the afternoon making space scenes out of construction paper, blue, glitter, glow-in-the-dark accessories and so much more. Crafting certainly is a popular activity hosted at your Abilene Public Library that kids love to join in on.
