Here's my last-minute entry for Threadless's Bed Bath and Beyond design challenge. The main pattern design is choc full of hand drawn type and fun doodles.

Bored, couldn't sleep, decided to use the 1.8 for what it does best... shallow depth of field.
What you're seeing here is the lip of a half-empty Corona bottle sitting on my counter top. Even though I was shooting at 1.8 under a double florescent light, I still had to bump the ISO up to 800 to get a steady shot (the 1.8 35mm doesn't have IS). I really like the outcome. Sometimes simplicity can be elegance.
Yeah, I "Instagramed" it up too in iPhoto. Square crop (me gusta) with blurred edges (regrets).
Additionally, I splurged and got Aperture for my MBP tonight, so hopefully any photos uploaded after this will be touched by the hands of the Aperture developers. I'll be sure to comment on my likes and dislikes in any following uploads.
