This is the main reason I came to this wild life game park, for my birthday…
for many years by now, I have dreamed of petting and interacting with an actual WILD cat, of ANY kind… didn’t matter what type, because I am fascinated by ALL wild cats.
So we went to this wild life game park, which is designed to be a walk-through petting zoo, in most of the parts.
This is not a zoo, though, in any traditional sense.
We were walking among peacocks, ducks, [and other birds], wallabies, a variety of types of deer, goats, llamas, alpacas, etc.,
Then, they had various specific times when they would bring out certain BABY wild animals, for educational information, and for photos, and yes for petting and interacting.
We pet and interacted with Bobbie Rose, [photographed here], a six month old Bobcat, and also with Coco, a six month old Cougar, and also with Mazarati, a six month old black bear!!!
For the smaller types of baby wild animals, we interacted with a Virginia Possum, a Raccoon, a white northwestern skunk, and some ferrets…
but the ferrets were not new for me.
I hope to share a few more photos from this overall experienced over the next couple/few months.
REMEMBER: As I mentioned in the previous two uploads, it was POURING rain the WHOLE day!
The good part about this is that there were hardly any other people there, so we got a LOT of interaction time…
Despite the rain we did take some photos, and a few turned out okay…
But,
in THIS photo, I am completely soaking wet from all the rain…
there was no way I could juggle an umbrella AND my camera!
So, it is not my best photo of ME!
But, nevertheless, I wanted to share this photo of me with the lovely Bobbie Rose!
Yes, she was SO awesome!!! And yes, I was a bit tentative, as one should be! Her handler was VERY close by, and I had strict instructions.
I might use it as my next ID.

Part of the soundtrack from “We Bought a Zoo”
Great soundtrack, and great film… as I loved the concepts and ideas portrayed for zoos, in this movie…
This wild game park, we went to is not a zoo.
