As part of out 50th high school reunion we were taken on a tour of the remodeled Orpheum movie theater.
This is where we all went to see movies 50 years ago. ... Did I just say 50 years ago ? ... Doesn't seem possible.
Anyway, it's been completely re-made ... re-born actually ... into a combination of a smaller theater, a museum, a photo gallery, conference rooms, a black box room for play production work, a complete workshop and more.
Most notably it is a shrine to Marshalltown native Jean Seberg, who played Joan of Arc in the movie St. Joan, and appeared in many more movies.
Those of you who still live in Marshalltown can maybe help me with this description.
