The play-on words of the Snoballimus Prime titled sweets is a nod to the one and only Optimus Prime of the Transformer’s fame. To help promote Transformers 3, Hostess has decided to inject even more color into their dessert cakes by decorating them in the theme of Autobot’s fearless leader. The coconut flakes are now blue, the white dominates most of the body and there’s red filling on the inside. Not into Optimus Prime? Hostess also has a cupcake based on fellow Autobot Shockwave, who has now been renamed Chocwave for the purposes of scrumptiousness.

New York Fashion Week has officially kicked off with its Spring 2012 collections, and the Imitation Spring 2012 presentation started things off with a bang. The show was held in a churchlike setting, with models walking down a runway covered in white rose petals resembling a gorgeous wedding ceremony.

The collection is perfect for spring, with nudes, soft pinks, lace, ruffles and pleats dominating the entire line. Delicate floral prints also play up the softness of the clothing, as opposed to the graphic florals that were so prominent in previous fall collections.

The Imitation Spring 2012 was full of show-stopping pieces, but my favorite has to be the nude and pale pink mullet dress. While I am not normally a fan of mullet dresses (or mullet anything, really), this one is breathtakingly gorgeous. As someone whose wardrobe is dominated by black and gray clothing, I must admit that the Imitation Spring 2012 is definitely something everyone can appreciate. The delicate, feminine frocks are impossible to ignore.

Delicate and stunning are words that come to mind when looking at the Katja Borghuis Schon Magazine #13 photoshoot. Lensed by Riccardo Bernardi, the set features the clothing of all-Dutch designers and was shot in Amsterdam to complete the experience.

Appropriately titled ‘Golden Age,’ the photoshoot captures the Dutch supermodel in poses that evoke the famous works of Vermeer and Rembrandt, most notably the ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’ painting. The contemporary twist on this classic artwork shows Borghuis in a t-shirt and hood, looking just as striking as the original. The soft lighting and blurred backgrounds of the photos give the shoot a soft and dreamy quality, making it feel like you’ve walked into the real world of the paintings.
